CSU Ski Camp - Hot and Humid

CSU Ski camp got underway Tuesday afternoon with some skate technique work on a shady road.  One gentleman came out and asked if we'd like some water from his 90 foot deep well......totally refreshing!!  We then filled up the swimming pool with CSU bodies upon our return until dinner.  After dinner we had video review of the days skate technique work.

This morning Alex and John LaChance got things started nice and early with a short jog and stretching.  After breakfast we headed to Mt. Watatic for speed hiking and hill bounding intervals with fly swatting intervals thrown in.  The intervals consisted of 5 min, , 4, 3, 2, 1 min of bounding/ski walking with the same rest interval.  The humidity was pretty oppressive, but everyone did really well.  This afternoon will be an OD skate workout.
