The dwindling snow patch

Our snow patch is getting pretty thin, but there's just enough snow to keep playing. The tune of the night was 3-lap intervals, done as a sprint race simulation. I wanted heats of 6, but there's a bottleneck at the top of the hill that's just about one skier wide, so we pared the heats down to 3. That didn't make life any easier for my crack timing team of Sarah, Lucian, and Alex, but they did admirably given the conditions (wind, darkness, and skiers speeding past).
