As the winter winds down, with more and more goose poop showing up at the Weston glacier, it's easy to start thinking about springtime and other pursuits than skiing. That would be fine, if we didn't have two more weeks of championship events coming up! Now is an important time to hang tough, mentally, and I have a quote for all y'all:
Champions do not become champions when they win the event, but in the hours, weeks, months and years that they spend preparing for it. The victorious performance is merely the demonstration of their championship character.
