Rion O'Grady is tearing it up running cross country for Dover-Sherborn. In his last two races Rion has come home 2nd and 1st.
Concord-Carlisle - Lincoln-Sudbury Smackdown - This week CC and LS reportedly go at it in cross country. These are two highly successful XC teams and of course neighboring schools that have no interest in losing to each other. My secret source has informed me that there has been a bit of trash talking between Eli Hoenig (LS) and Chris Burnham (CC) as each has tried to figure out weak spots on the other team without divulging too much information. This should be a good one so stay tuned!
Caitlin Guiney has been a prolific scorer for the CC field hockey team this week as CC handily beat Arlington 4-1. Caitlin banged in three of those goals herself! Be careful if Caitlin has a stick in her hands......
Julia Schiantarelli has also been running well for Newton North. In NNs opener Julia finished 9th overall and 7th on the always tough NN team.

Running for Brookline HS, Charlotte Cole has also been running up a storm as a freshman, finishing 2nd for Brookline (11th overall) in their first race of the season.
Another freshman running well was Chris Koziel, running for Needham HS, finishing his first race 9th for Needham and 26th overall.
And on the CSU alumni side of things, Kaytie Innamorati, running cross country for Gettysburg College, dropped her PR for 5km from 25:21 down to 21:42!! That is quite a drop. Nothing like good solid training all summer resulting in big improvements!
