Ski Tour Canada Day 2

Rob and I stopped by Montreal on our way home from Ottawa so we could watch the women's mass start classic race.  With the fresh snow overnight and the cold and howling wind, this might be one of the few world cup races held this year on actual, real snow!  The course was in Mont Royal park adjacent to McGill University.  Theresa Johaug went to the front quickly and then pretty much crushed the field.  Lots of fun to see so many Americans in the race.  Clearly it was tricky kick as many of the women struggled with slipping skis.  With the tight course everyone was running back and forth as the women looped around us.  Lots of ski friends in the crowd with Craftsbury Green, Ford Sayre, CSU, Mt. Mansfield and a host of others.
